National Wastewater Source Management Guidelines
The National Wastewater Source Management Guidelines July 2008 set the rules which prevent wastewater systems in our cities and towns becoming subject to inappropriate discharges. They cover discharges from both industrial and commercial premises, and also from household sources. Input from household sources can also be of significance if there are a sufficient number of customers.
As a member of the Water Services Association of Australia (WSAA), Cradle Mountain Water uses these guidelines as its benchmark in terms of the provision to our wastewater source management customers of national guidelines for the water industry.
