Fire Services
Commercial and industrial customers may have a water service provided to their property to support a sprinkler system or hose reel in the event of a fire.
As fire services are rarely called into service, pricing on the same basis as the “domestic” diameter size is not appropriate. Dedicated fire services will be charged at 25% of the full target tariff for the connection size. As these customers are identified, a one-off adjustment will be made to their current water fixed charge. Water usage is not charged on dedicated fire services. If you have a dedicated fire service you will be required to provide written documentation to access the discounted rate.
